I attended the AAG conference last week in Las Vegas. I participated in a panel organised by Renee Sieber titled Neogeographers meet Paleogeographers (here are my slides for the panelists' 5 minute intro). I also gave a presentation titled 'Software surveillance of farms, farmers and food', in paper session on Spaces of Surveillance: Power and Control in the Information Age organised by Hille Koskela and Francisco Klauser. (The slides of my talk are available here.)

I also co-organised a successful double session discussing Is Google Good for Geography, with Matt Zook. Despite being on the last day of the conference we had a packed seminar room.
