William Bunge's Nuclear War Atlas

I got a photograph of this fascinating poster done. A dense argument of graphics and text.

This analysis was turned into a book length treatise published in 1988. (Second hand copies of the book are available.)

his mind is like a geograpy mouse trap. if you get caught in it is not a pleasure. he is the bad boy of geography and the u.s. government. he was asked relocate in a different country.

Hello,

Mr. Bunge used to live close to my home in Quebec, Canada in a little city named Arthabaska. Do you know where he is located now, they moved from the town few years ago.

With regards,
MA

I am happy to see Bill Bunge's work has relevance to the current generation and to those with a visceral interest in exploration of humanity. My association with him was during the Toronto Geographical Expedition. When I moved to Quebec he and his family moved shortly afterwards. I have lost track of Bill since several years but would like to know about his current whereabouts. I have some correspondence from him on his work on a book called "Geography: The Innocent Science". Any information, comments or questions can be addressed to me personally.

I loved this guys' work back in the 1980s, however NONE of what he predicted in this nuclear war atlas came true. It was all fantasy. The sad thing was SO many people got indoctrinated into this world-view and became fanatical as well. It would be interesting to see how many people that Bunge affected, especially the radical disciples he had.
